CHECK OUT THE NRC ONLINE FORUM!
Don't forget to check the Hawkboard page for updates...couple of new post recently added.
Well, the season has drawn to a close, and most hawks will now be free lofted ...it's a time when the NRC format switches from flying and hunting hawks to our more public side.. Country fairs and shows, village fetes and events, and this year, the British Falconer's Fair comes home to Northamptonshire, and as the home club, we will have our role to play in conjunction with the Hawkboard. So, as the final few days of the season were upon us, NRC made a week of it and staged several field meets in different areas over the closing days.. Check out the field meets page for more...
The NRC AGM was held on this night at Wooton Hall Pavillion, and the existing committee members were all re-elected to their posts. These are as follows:
The committee wish to thank the membership for their continued support going into our seventh year as a club.
The British Falconers Fair will return to Althorp House for 2012, and takes place on May 6th & 7th Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday. The organisers have asked NRC, as the local club, to man their mews at this event. As the local club, it would be fitting for us to provide this service for such an auspicious event, not only in the world of British falconry, but around the world. If you can help, there will be a limited number of free passes available for those volunteering to man the mews which will be ascertained at a later date. Please make it known to the committee if you will be available.
